About Ellery!
Hi! My name is Ellery and I’m a performer based in New York City. I was raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida and moved to Manhattan in 2022 to study at the American Musical and Dramatics Academy. After graduating with a certificate in musical theatre in 2024, I’ve started my professional journey in the arts joining the talent pool in the city. Besides the typical singing, acting, and dancing, I am a huge fan of improvisation, clowning, and technical theatre.
Some of my favorite show credits include ensemble work in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street directed by Scott Cooper, Joanne in Company directed by Dustin Hinzman at Pinellas County Center for the Arts, and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Jillian Katz. Other credits include Elsa in Frozen Jr, Donna in Mamma Mia, and swinging four different tracks in Matilda.
Being in a performing arts conservatory, I’ve gotten the chance to work on many different pieces of art and theater. Some of my favorite songs and scenes I’ve been able to work on recently are:
